FAREWELL SCHOOL TRIP

Two months ago, my school held a farewell school trip  for ninth grade to Jogjakarta. The trip began at 8 o’clock. We were all very happy inside the bus. At 24 o’clock, we arrived at the hotel Sri Wedari and immediately rested.

Next day, at 8 o’clock we headed to Monjali or Monumen Jogja Kembali. There were many historic photographs and there were many various vehicles used during the war. We took some photos too to memorize this unforgettable moment. After the Monjali, we went to the Keraton Jogjakarta. Keraton Jogjakarta was very interesting and had a peaceful surroundings. There were many photos the King of Jogjakarta’s Sultanate and that made me interested was the image dimensions. After that, we walked to the Malioboro street and Beringharjo market to had lunch and bought some souvenirs in there. The evening was the top event of my farewell school. Each class showed their best performance and my class performed singing and reading poetry with success. The event was very successful.

Next day, we visited Ketep Pass. We watched a film about the eruption of Mount Merapi. The view of Ketep Pass was very beautiful and the air were very cool. After that, we visited Borobudur Temple, our last destination before going back to Jakarta. Because it was drizzling, so we were careful to the stairs of the temple. Finally, we reached the top of the temple. There was so beautiful with many historical statues.

At 17 o’clock we returned to Jakarta. Although the trip was short, but for me it was very means and can’t be forgotten.
